Creation of Michigan Algebra I

The Michigan Algebra I Course is a model of true collaboration among educators from the local districts within the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (TBAISD). This project was coordinated and facilitated by Karen Reister, Math Consultant for TBAISD.  There were many involved in the development of this free resource for Michigan educators and students. The following pages highlight those who contributed their talents to this project.  We thank them for their time and expertise.

The TBAISD Algebra I Moodle Course was created during the 2010-2011 school year with Federal Title II D Enhancing Education through Technology Grants in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Education.  The Models of Demonstrated Proficiency Grant provided funds for content creation.  The 21st Century Learning Environments Initiative Grant provided funds for editing and voice work.
