Common Sense Economics 2015-2016

Howdy, everyone!  I am Dr. Ferrarini!  I will be assisting your instructor this semester! My passion is teaching.  I love to read and learn about different schools of thought in economics, philosophy, political science, and religion.  When I am not teaching or reading, cooking is my hobby.  Oh yes, and I love to garden, too...  I appreciate seeing things grow and transform from seedlings to beautiful plants, bushes, and trees.

Thank you for joining me! My goal is to help you learn economics using sound reasoning and focusing on the common sense aspects of this social science.

Economics is the science of decision-making.  You make choices from the moment you get up to the time you go to bed.  As an economist, my job is to help you acquire a bag of decision-making tools that will assist you in making purposeful decisions as consumers, savers, investors, business owners, employees, employers, political officials, plumbers, and citizens of the world.
